Siaram provides a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting when the original customer receives or collects the piece. It covers a defect in materials or workmanship that causes a failure during normal, appropriate use. Keep your receipt or a verifiable order reference. Gift recipients may claim using proof of the original purchase.
A confirmed defective arrival is handled under our Returns policy. For a manufacturing defect discovered later, we normally offer a repair at no charge. If a suitable repair is not possible, we offer an appropriate replacement. If neither is possible within a reasonable time, we offer a refund. This sequence does not restrict a different remedy available under applicable law.
The warranty does not cover ordinary wear, accidental damage, loss, theft, misuse or damage caused by inappropriate handling, chemicals or work by another jeweller. Another jeweller's work only excludes coverage to the extent it caused or contributed to the problem. A broken chain or missing stone is assessed according to its cause; it is not automatically treated as customer damage.
The one-year warranty is additional to mandatory legal rights. Expiry of this warranty, or failure to report within 48 hours of delivery, does not by itself decide whether a separate legal claim is valid. Report a suspected problem promptly after discovering it and stop wearing the piece if continued use could worsen the damage.
Email customerservice@siaramjewelry.com with the order reference, when you first noticed the problem, a short account of what happened and clear photographs. We may ask for close-up images and images of the whole piece. We will review these with our manufacturer and explain whether physical inspection is necessary.
Where a claim appears to involve a manufacturing defect and inspection is needed, we arrange prepaid return delivery. We aim to give an initial assessment within three business days after receiving the piece. If a specialist review needs more time, we explain why and give an expected response date.
We will provide the findings, whether the problem is covered, the proposed remedy and an estimated completion date. Where we decline coverage, we explain the evidence supporting that decision. You may provide further information or raise a complaint. We will not start a chargeable repair without your approval.
We can assess broken chains, missing stones, resizing and cleaning for paid service where feasible. The price depends on the work and materials required. We provide a quotation, delivery charges and estimated timing before you authorise work. If inspection identifies additional necessary work, we obtain your agreement before increasing the charge.
For a covered warranty repair or replacement, Siaram pays the necessary delivery costs. For an agreed service outside warranty, you pay the quoted service and delivery costs. If assessment shows no covered fault and you decline paid work, any charge for returning the piece must have been disclosed and accepted before inspection; there is no undisclosed inspection fee.
